Learning is a Game

I have been dreaming about how to design my classes using game theory. Who doesn’t love to play a game? We start life exploring the world through play and games. As adults, we still seek out ways to connect with others and continue the exploration. Games like Farmville, Words with Friends, and Candy Crush, capture the minds of many who will loose track of time as they play. Game formats are engaging. Wouldn’t it be amazing to design classes so that students are so immersed in learning that they lose track of time? Here’s an incredible inforgraphic by Knewton that helps present Gamification of Education.Gamification Infographic
